Dr. Gambs grew up in Minden, Iowa, and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. He began working at Twin Valley in 2000. He enjoys golfing, and teasing people.

Dr. Strong received her Doctorate’s in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. She joined our staff in June 2023. Andi enjoys spending time with her cats, watching Netflix, and riding her horses.

Kathryn Gamblin, Veterinary Technician

Kathryn, also known as “Kate” around the office, moved to Dunlap in 2019 and joined Twin Valley in 2023. Having completed her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology Systems at Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture and passing the National Veterinary Technician Exam in 2007, she joins us with 15+ years of experience in the animal industry. Kathryn also completed an Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture Business from Iowa Western Community College and a Bachelor’s in Business from Bellvue University. She looks forward to the level of customer service and patient care she can bring our clients.

Jim "Tater" O'Day, Veterinary Assistant

Tater returned to the staff of Twin Valley Veterinary Clinic in January 2016 to assist the veterinarians with cattle handling and during farm calls. He was raised in Dunlap and enjoys welding and being a "Barn Dad" to his daughters who like to horseback ride.

Briana Farley, Customer Service/Reception

Briana is originally from Rockport, Missouri, but moved to Woodbine when she was in kindergarten and has lived there since. Her main hobbies include going to concerts, spending time with family and friends, and being a mom to her two children and her "fur kids." Briana likes the friendly staff and environment at the clinic. She started in February 2024.

Cloe is from Soldier and attended Maple Valley Anthon Oto Charter Oak Ute High School.  She joined the staff at Twin Valley in January 2021 and likes seeing the animals as she helps customers.

Becky Branstetter, Veterinary Technician

Becky is a life long resident of Harrison County. She lives in Woodbine, but is originally from Logan. Becky graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Iowa Western Community College in 2009. She enjoys pig farming, hiking, and traveling, but spends most of her time chasing her kids around doing activities. Becky enjoys working with her fellow teammates at the clinic and interacting with patients, as well as the fast-paced, never dull clinic environment.

Robert Brock, Large Animal Assistant

Robert raises a 30-head commercial cow-calf herd with his family near his home town of Dunlap, Iowa. Working cattle is his favorite part of working at the clinic and he joined the staff in 2022.

Terri Meadows, Veterinary Assistant

Terri started working at the clinic in 2021, and enjoys the constant variety associated with her job at Twin Valley. Her home town is in the Charter Oak-Ute area. In her free time, she likes quiet activities, like reading and hanging out with her pets.

Ariel has been working at the clinic since 2021. When she's at work, she enjoys customer service and making cute posts and videos of the animals that she sees during the day. She has two daughters, three cats, and a plumber boyfriend.

Tanya Hanks, Veterinary Assistant

Tanya rejoined the staff at Twin Valley in 2021. She is from Mapleton, Iowa, and enjoys photography and painting. Her favorite part of working at Twin Valley is the fact that she never knows how each day will unfold or the opportunities and challenges she will face during the work day. She also enjoys in-hospital patient care and working cattle.
